–About the writer: Alan Moore is best known for Watchmen, V for Vendetta, The Ballad of Halo Jones, From Hell, Batman: The Killing Joke, Promethea, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and Lost Girls, as well as his prose novels Jerusalem, Voice of the Fire, and The Great When. He lives in Northampton, England.
—About the artist: Stephen Bissette drew comics until 1999 and edited the anthology Taboo between 1988 to 1995. He now teaches at the Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, Vermont.
