Hi everyone!
With the current economic situation, we find the need to cut back some hours at the shop.
Right now, we don't do enough business most Mondays or Tuesdays to justify being open then. Although holiday Mondays are definitely worth our while.
Also, we usually don't get much business before about 3 in the afternoon. I'd like to stay open later, but the sparseness of bus service means our guys that don't live in the neighborhood would have trouble getting home. Besides, our
So, I've thought about the following hours:
Closed Tuesdays
Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri: 1-9 p.m.
Saturday 10-9 (no change)
Sunday 10-6 (no change)
Next summer, we'd probably switch back to 7-days-a-week.
If you regularly shop with us earlier in the day or on Tuesdays, would we lose some of your business? We're very interested in what you have to say.
Thanks!
heya... i have a dumb question...
how do holds work anyhow... so say for example i have comics that i want to receive regularly... do you just keep a running tab of that kind of thing in a card file, or what? I've picked up a bunch of stuff to read from you guys (which i love love love), and there are some i definitely plan to stick with, so i've been thinking i should start compiling a hold list.
having never actually had a hold list anywhere, this suddenly starts to seem really useful when i can't always make my weekend date with the comics...
I noticed you guys were one of the great comic stores that carry local comics. I will be coming in soon to offer you my book. Is there any room or market for original art such as comic related cards, drawings or paintings? I sell alot of mine at cons and am always looking for other places to sell them. Check out some of mya art on my blog. Keep up the good work!!!
