Hi everyone!
With the current economic situation, we find the need to cut back some hours at the shop.
Right now, we don't do enough business most Mondays or Tuesdays to justify being open then. Although holiday Mondays are definitely worth our while.
Also, we usually don't get much business before about 3 in the afternoon. I'd like to stay open later, but the sparseness of bus service means our guys that don't live in the neighborhood would have trouble getting home. Besides, our
So, I've thought about the following hours:
Closed Tuesdays
Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri: 1-9 p.m.
Saturday 10-9 (no change)
Sunday 10-6 (no change)
Next summer, we'd probably switch back to 7-days-a-week.
If you regularly shop with us earlier in the day or on Tuesdays, would we lose some of your business? We're very interested in what you have to say.
Thanks!
More Hours
I think the current policy of "open whenever I happen to wander through Union Square at night with nothing better to do" works well and shouldn't be changed one bit. In fact, I think you should get a liquor license.

Hours
We're changing our hours as of Monday, October 13. We'll be open weekdays 2 to 9 p.m. (Opening early on New Comic Day -- Wednesdays or Thursdays) and keeping our weekend hours (10-9 Saturday, 10-6 Sunday).
We'll continue to be open at wacky other times late at night just to keep you guessing, Dave. And after hours, just bring beer. :)
Of course, the weekend of October 18, we will be open all night for 24-hour Comic Day! WOOOO! The festivities start at noon, Saturday Oct. 18 and end at noon, Sunday Oct. 19.
(Dave already knew this, but I'm just mentioning it for anyone else.)
