24 Hour Comics Day is almost here! Is anyone out there participating? I've put it off for the past three years, but it's such a cool concept that I don't think I'll be able to let it go this time around. I hope I'm not the only one thinking about taking the plunge. Have any of you done it? If so, how did it work out for you? Positive experience or wish you had gone to bed? I'm interested in hearing about the experience. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, you can look here: http://www.scottmccloud.com/inventions/24hr/dare/dare.html
or here: http://www.24hourcomicsday.com/
...and I'm sorry if I just cost you a night's sleep.
I'd Love To Do Another 24-Hour Comic Day
But need an extremely local place (Union Square, Somerville MA), so Hub Comics would work for me. This'll be my third one. James, can this actually happen? Matt at Comicopia did it last year, but formally backed off for 2008. I can give your more detail in person. Until then, here's a list of my 24-Hour Comics Days:
Soaked (2007)
Reach (2004)
The Null Device (full story inspired by Soaked)
David Marshall, Comic Book Artist

Very Cool, Mr.Marshall!
Great comics you got there! Well done.
24-hour comics
We're planning to do an event at the shop, but we haven't gotten things together yet. I'm goinig to be relying on Jesse Farrell (manager) to organize stuff, but he's been out of town for most of the summer. He'll be back this week, so I'll bug him about it.
Want to participate at our shop?
Thanks! That would be great!
Thanks! That would be great! I'm looking forward to the opportunity. Have any other shopgoers talked about participating?
